AC Transit accepts Golden Gate transfers from Routes 40/42 for full local fare on the first AC Transit bus boarded in the East Bay. For Clipper customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts AC Transit interagency vouchers for $2.00 fare credit for adults ($1.00 for youth, senior, disabled) on Routes 40/42. For cash paying customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts AC Transit interagency vouchers for $2.10 fare credit for adults ($1.05 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40/42. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.

SolTrans accepts Golden Gate transfers from Route 40/42 for $1.75 fare credit for adults ($1.50 youths, $0.85 for senior/disabled). For Clipper customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts SolTrans transfers for $2.00 fare credit for adults ($1.00 youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40/42. For cash-paying customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts SolTrans transfers for $2.10 fare credit for adults ($1.05 youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40/42. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper Card users.

WestCAT accepts Golden Gate transfers from Route 40/42 for $1.00 fare credit for adults and youths ($0.50 for senior/disabled) at El Cerrito del Norte BART Station. Golden Gate Transit accepts WestCAT transfers at the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for $2.10 fare credits for adults ($1.05 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40/42. Clipper card users boarding Golden Gate Transit first should request a paper transfer for use on WestCAT; WestCAT is not Clipper enabled.
