Vehicles can be parked on the street but must be in running condition for a maximum of 72 hours. If not operable, i.e. no wheels, engine, etc., they can be towed by the City. They must also have current license and registration. The vehicle may also be towed if the registration is expired for longer than six months.

Report an Abandoned Car on Private Property
Vehicles can be parked in the driveway but must be in running condition. If a vehicle is abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, unregistered it is a violation of RMC section 11.76. You will be notified to repair or remove the vehicle(s). Failure to do so the vehicle will be remove at the owners expense.

Vehicle Abatement Fees

• Release fee from public highway: $125
• First vehicle found on private property: $325
• Each additional vehicle found on the same private property: $200
