KCRT airs NASA programming in a one-hour block of various programs back-to-back.
"NASA X":
Created around NASA technologies, the series introduces viewers to cutting edge science, technology, engineering, planetary exploration, aeronautics and space exploration
"NASA 360":
The series examines NASA's past, present, and future. Hosted by Jennifer Pulley and Johnny Alonso, the 30-minute show's goal is to show how NASA has changed, and continues to change all of our lives in a positive way: by examining how technology developed by/for NASA is being used in everything from space exploration to everyday consumer products.
"NASA Edge":
The show takes an insiders look at current projects and technologies from NASA facilities around the United States, and is depicted through personal interviews, on-scene broadcasts, computer animations, and personal interviews with top scientists and engineers at NASA.
"NASA Connect":
Endorsed by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), this program supports national mathematics, science, and technology standards. The 30-minute program seeks to establish a "connection" between the mathematics, science, and technology concepts taught in the classroom and the mathematics, science, and technology used everyday by NASA researchers.
"NASA’s Destination Tomorrow":
30-minute educational programs that focus on NASA research, including new technologies, advanced aerodynamics, past achievements and medical breakthroughs. Each program gives the audience an inside look at NASA and demonstrates how research and technology relates to our everyday lives.
"NASA SciFiles":
A one-hour series of instructional programs consisting of broadcast, print, and online elements. Emphasizing standards-based instruction, Problem-Based Learning, and science as inquiry, the series seeks to motivate students in grades 3-5 to become critical thinkers and active problem solvers. The stars are six "Tree House Detectives," who are continually faced with challenging problems they must solve by using their mathematics, science, and technology skills. Along the way to solving each problem, they meet a number of interesting adult characters who help them with their research.
