Meetings and Outreach Activities

The General Plan updates will only be successful if they reflect the goals and values of the community. You have the opportunity to help create the vision and principles that will guide this important process for the Environmental Justice Element and the amendments to the Public Safety and Noise Element. 

No matter how much time you have, there are ways to contribute and make your voice heard. A community “listening session” and public meetings will be held throughout the General Plan update process. You can also fill out a comment form (coming soon) to let us know what you think at any time.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please don’t hesitate to reach out. 

Reuniones y Actividades de Alcance

Las actualizaciones del Plan General sólo serán exitosas si reflejan las metas y los valores de la comunidad. Usted tiene la oportunidad de ayudar a crear la visión y los principios que nos orientarán en este proceso importante para el Elemento de la Justicia Ambiental y las enmiendas al Elemento de Seguridad Pública y Ruido. 

No importa cuánto tiempo tenga, hay maneras de contribuir y hacer que se escuche su voz. Una sesión de “escucha comunitaria” y reuniones públicas se celebrarán durante todo el proceso de actualización del Plan General. También puede completar un formulario de comentario para dejarnos saber sus ideas en cualquier momento.

Public input from every engagement event will be recorded and compiled to ensure that City planners and decision-makers have a full understanding of our community sentiments when drafting and approving the General Plan amendments.
