This is the bill that requires all contractors operating in the California refineries pay their employees prevailing wage.

Drivers visiting Target can easily get off on MacDonald avenue from the 80 going north but there is no reciprocal on-ramp back on the freeway. Instead, shoppers have to drive through 44th street--a residential neighborhood--to get back on the freeway creating a loss of value of homeownership for the residents who live there.

The intersection of Richmond parkway and Hill Top drive is very dangerous to the residents in the area. Their are several red light runners at any given time and it is only a matter of time before a major accident will happen. Richmond PD or cal trans need to have better enforcement or the city needs to increase the time between light changes. That intersection is used by a lot of commuters and they have no regard to the residents of that area who are taking kids to school. When I'm on Hilltop drive crossing the parkway I have to wait 3 secoonds after the light has turned green before crossing for the fear that speeding red light runners are going to hit me. This happened again this morning where the light turned green and 3 cars heading south on the parkway ran the red light. The city or the police need to fix this issue before people get hurt or worst die.
Thank you

There is a dearth of noise barriers along the 80 freeway. I am a homeowner on 44th street and notice that noise barriers do not begin until you enter El Cerrito. This lack of basic and inexpensive infrastructure reduces quality of life for everyone who lives along the freeway. Noise barriers can reduce traffic noise by as much as half.
