Ohio Market is directly behind home. The store's backyard is filled with trash and it is piled against my fence. It is typically a foul scent in and around the store. It harbors huge rats. City inspectors need to ensure that neighborhood stores operate with a higher standard. If the store cannot afford to dispose of their trash properly, supply fresh foods, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, it should not be in operation.
Tonight I opened my garage to see and HUGE RAT run across. This is because the store creates a space to harbor rodents. Their backyard is filled with junk and trash. Please set a standard for businesses in the city of Richmond.

I'd like to hear concrete ideas or actions from the city and/or community that citizens can take to make headway on the issue of the constant train horn noise. I feel completely abused both day and night by the 24/7 horn blasts but powerless to do anything about it. The community cannot stay ignored on this major quality of life issue. I'd be happy to start a group dedicated to taking action on this issue if others are interested.
