Emergency Services Data Study

The City has hired a consultant to produce a report that examines the current workloads and service delivery of the Richmond Police and Fire Departments. The goal is to conduct an analysis of emergency calls for service and operations, as well as provide strategies to achieve the best use of existing resources. A comprehensive assessment of the types of emergencies residents report and our city’s response to calls for service would help our city improve service delivery and determine where resources are needed. To learn more about the study, visit our website.

Public input is important to this process. You are invited to attend an open town hall session with Matrix Consulting on July 14, 2022, at 6:00 pm.  We will be discussing a wide range of topics related to police and fire services in Richmond. Your input is essential.

The forum will be held via Zoom. To register, Community Discussion: Police & Fire Services in Richmond.
