KCRT presents two new weekly, TV programs during this summer.
Hosted by journalist Llewellyn King, "White House Chronicle" is a long-running, weekly news and public affairs program. Focusing on politics, foreign affairs, economy, and technology, some of the topics that are discussed include the deep roots of America's housing crisis, the electricity supply crisis, the end of U.S.-China engagement, and America's housing shortage. The series airs Sundays at 10AM with encores on Mondays at 1PM and 7PM on KCRT-TV.
Hosted by Bryan Kreutz and Lili Fox-Lim, "A Captain's Log" is a talk show that focuses on the "Star Trek" universe -- from the original TV series ("The Original Series, "The Next Generation," "Deep Space Nine, "Voyager," and "Enterprise"), feature films, to current "Trek" shows ("Discovery," "Strange New Worlds," "Picard," "Lower Decks," and "Prodigy"). The 30-minute series has insider news and interviews with creators, writers, and actors from the long-running sci-fi franchise. Watch the show on Saturday nights at 11:30PM with an encore on Sunday mornings at 10:30AM.
