We need your commitment to help rebuild Parchester Park in one day!
The playground will serve youth of a variety of ages from 2 to 12, with the majority of youth ages ranging from 5 to 12. The new playground will give youth a positive, safe, fun environment where youth might otherwise be exposed to negative choices and/or victims of a crime. The playground will enhance youth's imagination around play, help develop friendships, and be the meeting place for building positive childhood memories. We will also be celebrating Arbor Day which will be hosted by
Richmond Trees. There are four ways you can contribute which are listed below:
1. Volunteer on Build Day (all ages and skills are welcome)
2. Contribute a donation to the project from the wish list.
3. Donate a Monetary Gift.
4. Purchase the shoe "Petal"(100% proceeds support the project)
Keep in mind all volunteers are welcome and no experience is necessary. Volunteers will be assigned to a variety of tasks that include but not limited to: Building playground equipment pieces, assist with serving food, assist with registration of volunteers, assist with leading children activities, and planting trees and shrubbery.
