Mission
The mission of the Housing division is the development of quality neighborhoods within the City of Richmond by partnering with neighborhood residents and community groups, the division accomplishes this goal through:
- Assisting homeless and disabled individuals in obtaining housing
- Developing new affordable housing
- Expanding economic opportunities in business and employment for low- and moderate-income residents
- Improving existing housing conditions
