Richmond Electric Bikeshare Riding Rules
1. Ride Within Richmond City Limits: The electric bikes are currently limited to use within the city of Richmond. Please stay within the designated boundaries when riding.
2. Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic signals, stop signs, and street markings. Ride with the flow of traffic and be mindful of pedestrians.
3. Stay in Bike Lanes: Use bike lanes wherever available. If there are no bike lanes, ride as close to the right side of the road as possible.
4. Yield to Pedestrians: Always give pedestrians the right of way, especially at crosswalks and on sidewalks.
5. Wear a Helmet: We strongly recommend wearing a helmet for your safety.
6. No Riding on Sidewalks: Stay off sidewalks in business districts to avoid collisions with pedestrians.
7. End Your Ride: Make sure to lock your bike and end your ride through the app. Always park your bike at an official Today bike hub. Failure to do so may result in an out-of-hub fee.
8. Report Damage or Issues: If the bike has any maintenance issues or damage, report it immediately through the bikeshare app.
9. Respect the Bike and Others: Treat the bike with care and respect fellow riders and others sharing the road or paths.
