The High Priority Sewerline Replacement Project will replace eight six-inch diameter sewer pipeline segments (manhole to manhole) throughout the City. These 8 pipelines have severe structural defects and have reached the end of their useful lives. The pipes are located on the following streets: Potrero Avenue west of South 41st Street; San Pablo Avenue southbound south of Barrett Avenue; East Richmond Avenue eastbound east of Alvarado Street (2 pipes); pipe in easement downhill from Rifle Range Road north of Wildcat Drive; Garvin Avenue between 18th and 20th Streets; and pipe in easement north of Barrett Avenue between Key Boulevard and Dimm Street. The pipes will be replaced using pipe-bursting methods, which requires minimal digging, unless special circumstances require open trench construction. Construction activities will be completed in January 2022.
