After your Career Center Orientation is presented in English or Spanish, you'll have an opportunity to:- Determine your skills, interests, and personality using various career assessment tools
- Clarify your occupational goals
- Receive one-on-one advice from one of our career planners and attend job preparedness workshops
Use Our Support and Information Services - Walk-In welcome but prefer you make an appointment due to space availability
- Resource room with computers, fax, phones, and high-speed internet access
- Current job postings from local and East Bay employers
- Employer on-site recruitment events and job fairs
- Labor Market Information (LMI) that forecasts employment trends
- Education, training, and community resource information and support
- Software tutorials for Resume Writing and Typing, providing practice, testing, and certification

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
The Workforce Investment Act (WIOA) funded through the Department of Labor, provides area residents with skills and training for growth and in-demand occupations. Our current training industry focus includes:
